Hey, I see you.
You probably don’t even realize that you’re making a pretty big impression right now, but I know who you are.
You’re the woman that holds everything together, the glue to the family that needs to know you’re gonna be there for them, no matter what.
You’re the woman that smiles through the struggles because you know you can get through whatever this is, because you’ve gone through so much already.
And Sandwich Generation? Heck, you’re a CLUB sandwich, with extra bacon thankyouverymuch, because you know life is short and bitter sweet, and sometimes it’s tough as hell, but this is just part of it all.
You’re the woman that bends a little for someone else because you know what it’s like to have no way to bend at all and you remember what that felt like.
You’re the woman that offers hope to those that see no hope in their future, because if YOU can do it, so can they.
You’ve lost so many in your life….parents, friends, siblings, spouses, children. You’ve accepted that death is what comes to everyone, but it’s the losses that were unexpected or unexplained that rip your heart out, shred it to pieces and then toss it aside while you wonder what will come next.
You’re the woman that loves fiercely, stands strong, and stays the course, because you’re a force to be reckoned with and you don’t break under the weight of it all.
You’re the woman that pulls the strings, makes the connections, rights the wrongs, and makes sure your story is told so others will always remember.
